Harris Teeter Super Doubles- Best of the Best List
I have compiled a list of what I think are the best deals at HT this week. A full and more comprehensive list is available on afullcup.com. For this list I focused on items that were free to $1.00 (plus I threw in a few items I didn't want to forget to grab). I had to copy and paste from excel so the spacing may be a little off. More deals will come as I find them during the week. Hope this helps!
A Few Great Deals That End Today-Act Fast
Sorry I have been MIA for so long. Too much going on and too little time! I will try to get back in my routine of daily posting :)
Food Lion - Food Lion is doing their "Big Deal" Promotion through June 28th. If you buy 10 items, you get an instant $5 off. There are over 125 items that qualify (a full list is available in stores) and honestly I have all but stopped shopping at Food Lion so I don't know the various combinations you could do. But here is a deal I have done 3 times already: My kids eat Pop Tarts like there is no tomorrow and they are normally $2.49 per box. They are on sale 2/$4 and if you buy 10 boxes, you get the instant $5 off. You will also get an instant $3 off for a Kellogg's CMN promotion that ends today. In front of the pop tarts there is a coupon dispenser for $1 off 2 boxes. Here is the math= 10 boxes is $20 - instant $5 big deal promotion - instant $3 Kellogg's promotion - $5 in coupons = $7.00 for 10 boxes or 70 cents per box. These have a long shelf life and it's a great deal if you like Pop Tarts. After today when the Kellogg's promotion ends, it will be $10 for 10 boxes.
Also at Food Lion Rachel Ray Just 6 dog treats are on sale B1G1 free. I have not checked the shelf tag but I believe this deal lasts for another week or 2. In the June 5th inserts was a B1G1 free coupon so the result is 2 free bags, you just pay tax. The limit is 2 free and it comes out to a total of .64 cents for 4 bags. You can order extra coupons on ebay for less than $2 if you want more, just remember to do separate transactions :)
BiLo: BiLo has Tennessee Pride sausage B1G1 free. I forget the exact price before the sale ($4.29 maybe?) but use the .75 coupon from this past Sunday's paper that doubles to $1.50. Use 1 coupon for each roll you buy and pay just .79 cents each. I bought 10 and froze some for later and paid right at $8.00 for 10 rolls.
This doesn't end today but they have 50 count Bounty napkins on price lock through mid July for $1.00 and there was a $1.00 coupon in the 6/5 P&G insert for $1.00 off any Bounty napkin so you just pay tax. I ordered extra of these off ebay to stock up on all the spills and messes that my 4 kids create. Ebay is a GREAT source for getting coupons. They are cheap and arrive within 3-4 days. Just be sure you know sale end dates and allow ample shipping time. I only order coupons that equal free items. Be sure to check the sale tag in the store because they don't always end after just 1 week!
ALSO
If they don't sell out in 5 minutes, you can use this same coupon during Harris Teeter's super doubles tomorrow and get 100 count free instead of the 50 count.
I'm currently working on a super doubles shopping list. I hope to have it ready later today.

8 Pack Lance Crackers just 40 cents at BiLo
I know everyone is so focused on Harris Teeter's triples this week but I thought I would pass along a great deal at BiLo. Lance crackers regularly $2.99 are BOGO free so each one rings up at $1.50. If you printed the .55 off coupon from their FB page a few weeks ago, you can get them for just 40 cents after the coupon doubles! I got 4 packs this morning and the total including tax was $1.64. Can't beat it!

3 Body Washes and 3 Deodorants for $1 at Walgreens
Walgreens is having a great sale this week on Gillette products. Body wash for men is on sale 3/$10. Buy 3 body washes and 3 deodorants.
Use 3 $2 off Gillette body wash coupons
Use 3 Buy a body wash, get a deodorant free coupons
Final price $4 and earn a $3 RR
Also scotch tape is buy 1 roll get 2 rolls free (with the coupon from their sales ad). The cost is $1.99 for 3 rolls. Use 3 $1 off ip coupons to get all 3 rolls free + $1 overage (may vary, Walgreen's doesn't technically do overages!)
I bought the tape, body wash and deodorant all in 1 transaction and got the overage. I used a RR from last week, paid 43 cents and got another $3 RR.
A few notes about this deal: I'm not sure it matters what order you give the coupons in but I gave the $2 off body wash before the free deodorant coupon and the $1 off coupons before the Walgreens coupon. Also GOOD LUCK finding the body wash. I lucked out and was able to get the last 3 bottles they had at the Walgreens near my work but when I stopped at a second one, they were sold out. I imagine they are gone or almost gone at most stores. I really wish they would order more than just a handful of sales items each week as bare shelves are an ongoing problem at Walgreens. Remember you can get a raincheck but if you aren't able to find them in stock before the sale ends, you won't get the $3 RR so you will pay the full $4 for 6 items which is still not a bad deal but as often as free deodorant and body wash is available, it may be better to catch the next sale IMO!
Also the cashier gave me a bit of a hard time about using both the BOGO free coupons and the $2 off coupons. This is where having a copy of the coupon policy is SO handy. I pulled it out and showed it to her where it plainly states that 2 coupons may be used on BOGO free items as long as the total does not go below zero. There is another place in the policy that states 1 mq may be used PER ITEM being purchased. I explained that one coupon was paying for the deodorant and 1 coupon was going toward the body wash. She agreed and let me use them and the register had no problem with both q's. I was prepared to ask for the manager tho. They may not like it, but they can't dispute their own policy :)

Free Mueller's Pasta at BiLo + Possible Overage
***Updated to say that no matter which one you do first (coupon or bonus card) you still get overage so plan accordingly :) FYI tho if you use the coupon first it doesn't beep. They always ask for your bonus card first and I just told her I wanted to give it last. She said ok :) ***
There is a great coupon for $1.00 off any one Mueller's product. These are on sale BOGO free at BiLo through Tuesday which makes them 70 cents each. NOTE, you don't have to buy 2 to get the discount, they ring up 70 cents each so you can just buy one if you want. At worst, it's free, at best you have overage.
The coupon will beep if you let them scan your Bonus Card first because the value is higher than the product. I bought 4 boxes yesterday and the coupon beeped so the cashier got the manager. The manager said he needed to reduce the coupon value to 70 cents to get the register to take it but when he did that, all 4 coupons doubled and the overage paid my tax and something else I bought!
I'm going to attempt to link directly to the coupon but I'm never sure if it will work or not. Try going here and if it doesn't work, just go to their website and click on "coupons and promotions'. It will tell you that no public coupons are available but will tell you to sign up to receive future offers. If you sign up, they will email you a coupon for enrolling, which is the $1.00 off any. **Note, this is not a bricks coupon and you can print it as many times as you want. A box popped up when I hit print and asked me how many copies I wanted. The coupon does say "Only One Per Person" so do what you think is best :)
You can either use the coupon first to keep it from beeping or use your Bonus Card first and let them adjust it down and see if you get overage or not. It's up to you but no matter how you do it, it's still FREE!

**Just wanted to update this real quick and say that I HIGHLY recommend creating a email address that you only use when registering for free products, coupons ect. It will help control the spam you get. When I first started couponing I made the mistake of using my personal email address and within 2 weeks I was getting over 100 emails a day. Now I have what I call me "coupon address" and only check it every few days and I don't have to worry with alllllll that spam! Sites such as Yahoo and Gmail are free!
There is an offer out for a free Proglide Fusio Razor. I think this has lasted much longer than most freebies because it's in Spanish. Here is how to get yours: Text PRUEBA to 59999. They will send you an auto-text back and it will be in Spanish but it's asking for your age so just respond with your age (ex 30). Next they will ask you for your address so text your first and last name, and your mailing address. After you do that, you will receive a final text confirming that your free razor will be received in 6-8 weeks. It also gives an 800 number that you can call with any questions. I was super skeptical of this but I just did it myself and had no problems :)

Go here to print a coupon for $1 off 1 Axe
Visit Coupons.com and search zip code 23464 to print a $1.50 off any Jergens Natural Glow. No size restrictions so you can get the travel size at Target for just $0.49!
If you don't mind things being a little complicated, go here to print several great coupons including $1.00/2 Ragu, $1 off any Dove product and $1.00 off Bryers ice cream. I'm hoping HT or Bloom does another super doubles event before they expire. The link takes you to a grocery store website for Hannaford Grocery store but they are manu. coupons and can be used anywhere. There is a list of available coupons and you choose which ones you want (as many as you want). That adds the coupons to your shopping cart. When you are done click "view cart" at the top and it will ask you for a zip code. Enter 03110 and chose whatever store comes up. Then go back to your cart and click on each item one at a time. When you do this, there will be an option to print the coupons. Complicated I know but they are good coupons :)
**Try this link for just the Dove coupon. It should let you print that one but you will still have to follow the above steps for the remaining coupons. This will mean more FREE men's deodorant at Walgreens starting 5/15 so grab the coupon now if you want it! I told my husband last night that neither one of us will stink for a looong time with all the free body wash and free deodorant we've gotten lol.
Go here to print a $1.00 off Snapple 6 pack
Go here and fill out a short form to receive $10 in laundry coupons. The coupons will be mailed to you.
Go here to get a BOGO free coupon for Off Clip on Repellent. There is also a $2.00 off 1 coupon at coupons.com. I don't know how trying to stack them would work?? You are allowed 1 coupon per item so the BOGO coupon would pay for the free one and the $2.00 off coupon would go toward the one you are purchasing but I strongly think this deal will all depend of the cashier you get!
That is all I have for now :)

Awesome Shopping Day!
I am simply THRILLED with all the freebies I got today. Here are my deals at Harris Teeter...
It's hard to tell from the pic but there are actually 4 packs of toilet paper, so 48 rolls, 3 packs of razors and a pack of the GUM Eez Flossers. Total oop including tax = $7.05 and I still have $6 in RR so really I paid $1.05 :)))) Oh and I have rain checks for 8 free bottles of body wash which is sold out in every Walgreens in the state I think lol.
Total paid oop including tax = $1.87. The only thing that wasn't free was the Clorox laundry stain remover, it was 50 cents per bottle but we go through almost a bottle a week at my house so I didn't mind ;)
Freebies include: bag of Tostitos chips, jar of Tostitos salsa, a 2 liter Pepsi Max, 2 rolls of scotch tape, a bottle of McCormick seasoning, 2 packs of crab meat, 2 bottles of Seventh Generation dish detergent, 2) 4 packs of Juicy Juice cans and 2 boxes of Jimmy Dean Breakfast bowls! If anyone needs the location of the coupons, either email me or comment below. Most of them are still available however super doubles ends tomorrow night so not much time left. I plan on repeating this exact same transaction (minus the stain remover) tomorrow so hopefully my total tomorrow will be around $0.85!! Can't wait!
And I wasn't done there, I also stopped at Walgreens 3 times today hehe....

Walgreens Woes
I got up bright and early this morning to get my Sunday papers and go to Walgreens. BTW if you have not gotten your paper, go now!! There are FIVE coupon books this week: one Red Plum, 2 Smart Savers, a P&G (which I thought we didn't even get in this area) and one Moments To Save. Don't miss out on all those coupons :)
So what's the very next thing I do once I have my papers? Why go to Walgreen's of course. I was planning on doing 2 transactions today but ended up just doing one. I bought a pack of GUM Ez flossers, a pack of Noxema razors, 4 Right Guard body washes and 2 Tylenol Precise products. The flossers were $2 and you got a $2 RR, no problem here. The razors were $3.99 - $2 coupon =1.99 and you got a $3 RR. No problem here. The tylenol precise was $7.99 and there are 2 coupons for use. One is a $5 off printable MQ that I posted a link for a few days ago. That brought the price to $2.99. Second there is a $3 store coupon from the May coupon book for $3 off (remember you can stack these since one is a store q and one is a mq). Problem #1, she rang in the sq first which made the mq beep because the coupon value exceeded the price. She handed it back to me and said I couldn't use it. I politely told her that it only exceeded the price by one penny and she could just adjust the price of the mq from $5.00 to $4.99. At first she said she wasn't allowed to do that so I again politely informed her that I coupon all the time and I know for a fact you are allowed to do this. So she finally does it and all is well.
Now onto my big woe. The body wash did not ring up BOGO free, it rang up one @ $3.49 and one at $0.50. When I handed her my coupon she only took off $0.50. So again I politely called her on this. She then explained that when you use a mq you have to reduce the lowest price paid first so it would only take off $0.50. I pulled out their ad and showed her where the ad said BOGO free and told her it does not say 2 for $4.00, it says BOGO free. She looked confused and obviously did not understand the problem and said, "Well it's all the same in the end" I then had to spell it out for her that it DID matter because I had a coupon which would make them both free. She looked a little shocked at this and told me she was going to have to call her manager, and waited a minute like she expected me to say "oh don't worry about it, I will just pay it" She doesn't know me very well hehe cause I told her I thought calling the manager was a good idea.
So the manager comes and the cashier tells him that I'm trying to get 4 bottles of body wash for free so then I had to explain to HIM that according to their ad it was BOGO free so the first should have rang up $4.49 and the second should ring up free. I am using a BOGO free coupon to pay for the one I bought at $4.49 so the coupon value should be $4.49. Thankfully he tells her I am exactly right and to manually ring in one body was at $4.48 and the second at one penny and the coupon value at $4.49. So end the end I got them both free. He then tells her he is going to reprogram the system so they don't have that problem all week long (thank goodness!).
The reason I am posting this is to let you know that things don't always go according to plan BUT don't back down, stand your ground and ALWAYS have a copy of the coupon policy and store ad with you at checkout and don't be one bit afraid to ask for the manager. The company makes the policies, not us, so it isn't our fault if the result is free merchandise. A lot of cashiers think we are "robbing" the store by using coupons to get free items so remind them if you need to that the store gets reimbursed for the coupon + $.08 so they are actually making money by us using coupons :) Bottom line, my amount due was $3.99 + tax for everything and I used my $4 RR from last week to only pay the tax and I got back another $5 RR. So 4 body washes, a pack of razors, flossers and 2 Tylenols were tax only yay!!! My plan was to apply the $5 RR to the toilet paper in another transaction but I figured they had enough of me for one day so I left. TP is first on my list tomorrow tho :)

Saturday 4/30/11 Coupons and Deals
As I said before, I won't be around much this weekend so here is what I have gathered this morning. If any of my couponing ladies see something come out while I am away, email me :)
Head on over to Coupons.com and search zip code 77477 to print $1.00 off 4 Libby's Vegetables and $1.00 off 2 Libby's fruit. It includes canned fruit which = 2 free cans if used a HT before Tuesday. **The coupon sites are all buzzing that these will go very fast so I would print them now**
Visit Purina on FB here to get a coupon for a FREE bag of Pro Plan Roasted dog treats.
I do not have time this weekend to do anymore sales and match-ups so I'm going to link to people who already have :) Go to Melissa's Bargains for the full list of CVS match-ups and Happy Money Saver for the Rite Aid ones. Also some great CVS scenarios that tell you exactly what to do by transaction to maximize your coupons and ECB's at Addicted To Savings
Visit Cottonelle here to get a free tub of fresh wipes. You can also send one to a friend :)

Making Walgreens Rewards Work For You
FYI the Walgreens post I told you to bookmark has now been updated! I knew it was going to be a great shopping week but even I was not expecting all this! **Make sure you read that post first or this one won't make a whole lot of sense to you**
If you have been reading my blog for any length of time, you have seen me talk about rolling your rewards. For those who are new to couponing, you may have no idea what I'm talking about so I'm going to start at the beginning. I'm using Walgreens as an example because that is my prefered store of choice but the exact same thing can be done at CVS with their ECB and Rite Aid with their +Up rewards.
Walgreens offers what they call register rewards. RR are a coupon that will print at the register (like at the grocery stores) for a certain amount off your next purchase. To earn these you just have to buy a qualifing item and these are always listed in their sales ad. In most cases the initial purchase to get the reward requires some amount of money out of your pocket. I got SUPER lucky and earned my first $4 RR with no $ oop but this is rare. So purchase what you need to purchase to get your first one and from that point on...ROLL IT.
What do I mean by roll it? Rolling your rewards is simply using your reward to pay little/zero oop and earn another reward in the process. There are lots of ways to do this if you do your homework and be smart about it. There is one catch however, you can NOT use a RR to buy an identical item and get another RR. Let's use contonelle for example. I get a $3 RR for buying 2 packs. If in my next transaction, I buy 2 more packs of cottonelle, I can still use my RR to reduce the price BUT I won't get another RR because there is a limit and it is tracked through the barcode. You never want to do this!
Here is a scenerio to do instead, use your contonelle RR to buy a pack of Bic Soleil razors. After sale and coupon they are only $2.99 so with my contonelle RR they cost me zero oop and I earn a $2 RR. Next I will buy a pack of Noxzema razors, which are $1.99 after sale and coupon. Use the $2 RR you got from BIC to pay zero oop and get another $3.00 RR. So now you have 2 packs of free razors and you still have your reward. Let's go through a few more scenerios....So now I have my free toilet paper (remember I started with a $4 RR) and I have my free razors. Next I will buy some Right Guard deodorant. After sales and coupons my total due is $2.99 for 2 sticks. I use my $3 RR to pay zero and earn another $2 RR. Now I need some shampoo. After sales and coupons I can get 2 bottles of Head and Shoulders for $4.00. I will use my $2 RR + $2 oop and still earn another $2. Now with this $2 reward I can start all over again with the contonelle. This time I will pay $5 oop for the toilet paper and just go down the list getting everything for free.
So now in just ONE week of sales I have gotten 48 rolls of toilet paper, 4 packs of razors, 4 sticks of deodorant, and 4 bottles of shampoo and conditioner and the total cost out of pocket...a whopping $7. It does of course require a little effort on your part. You must either make multiple trips to the store or do more than one transaction per visit (or both!). I am very fortunate in that I pass right by 2 Walgreens each day and a 3rd is only 2 blocks out of my way from my office. So theoretically I could stop at each one, each day next week and by repeating the above process get everything for near free until I just run out of time and can't do it anymore. Now I realize some people may think there is way too much work involved and that's ok too :) I can only pass along what I think are great deals and what you do with them is entirely up to you. Do I particularly want to stop by a store 3 times a day every day next week? No but will I do it...more than likely :) A: I LOVE to shop. I mean really love it and B) At the end of the week when I look at the piles of items I paid next to nothing for, it will allllll be worth it!
